Asked to bat first, defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru struggled to 125/7 – their joint-lowest total in WPL history. The match saw Ellyse Perry registering her first-ever WPL duck, falling for a four-ball zero.

In response, Gujarat Giants chased down the modest target in just 16.3 overs, with captain Ashleigh Gardner leading from the front with a blistering 58 off 31 balls. Phoebe Litchfield provided steady support, finishing with a stunning 30 off 21 as GG sealed the win at 126/4.
