With just a few days of February left, India is already preparing for summer weather to set in. As per the latest update from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai is expected to witness a sharp rise in temperatures in the next three days.

As per IMD, a heatwave alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Navi Mumbai for the next three days.

The IMD forecast further added that a "yellow warning" is in effect for these districts. While temperatures will rise across these districts,66jogo Jogos de Cassino Online no Brasil Konkan is expected to record the highest temperature at 37 to 38 degrees Celsius.

Temperature To Be Above Normal

As per IMD, the temperature forecast of 37 to 38 degrees Celsius is at least five degrees higher than the normal weather conditions observed in February.

Speaking to PTI, IMD scientist Sushma Nair has stated that the high temperatures are likely to continue for the next two days.

Apart from this, heatwave conditions are expected in isolated pockets of Konkan and Goa on February 25 and 26, 2025. IMD also added that "hot and humid conditions are very likely at isolated pockets of Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat regions”.

This is not the first forecast IMD has made regarding a spike in temperatures as summer nears. Earlier this weekf5555, the weather department predicted that Bangalore summer temperature may soar higher than the temperatures seen in the national capital of New Delhi.
