Telangana State Govt Seeks Experts Advice As Rescue Ops Underway To Save Trapped Workers

Rescue operations are underway to save workers who are trapped inside the tunnel for over 72 hours. The trapped workers include two engineers,66jogo two technical staff, and four labourers. Around 13 workers sustained injuries due to the collapse but were able to come out of the tunnel with the help of 29 other workers who managed to escape unhurt.

Ex-Cong MP Sajjan Kumar Gets Life Imprisonment In 1984 Riots Case

In connection to a murder case related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, a Delhi court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar.

The judgment was pronounced by Special judge Kaveri Baweja at the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi for the alleged killing of Jaswant Singh and his son Tarundeep Singh on November 1, 1984. As per the verdict, Kumar has been held responsible for leading a mob and inciting it to kill Jaswant Singh and his son, Tarundeep Singh, in the Saraswati Vihar area of Delhi.
